BEAUTY NEWS
One of the best parts about cold-weather fashion is the infinite number of outfits you can put together with just a few staple pieces. (Seriously, the limit does not exist.) Your chunky sweaters pair perfectly with skinny jeans, as well as with your wide-leg pants. Your slim-fit turtleneck looks great tucked into a skirt with knee-high boots, but it can also be just as easily worn with your favorite high-waisted pants. And now, there’s a new layer that’s here to make any wardrobe even cozier: the shacket, aka the shirt jacket trend.

If you’re anything like me, your drawers are packed to the brim with jeans. I’m talking pairs spilling out left and right, and it’s nearly impossible to fit them all without the drawer popping back open. (I love jeans, OK?) There’s just something about denim that stays timeless year after year—with a few new looks thrown in each season, of course. And though I’ll always have my go-to pairs, the 2021 men’s jeans trends are tempting me to add some fresh denim to my wardrobe—if I can get them to fit in my dresser, that is.

No ensemble is truly complete without a really stunning bag—and thanks to all the 2021 winter bag trends making their way into the fashion landscape this season, it’s never been easier to elevate our coziest looks. After all, handbags serve as both a convenient addition to any outfit as well as a style opportunity. Purses allow us to store all the essentials without filling our (likely very minuscule) pockets, but they also give us a chance to tote around a chic accessory. It’s a win-win, if you ask me.

This won’t be the last time you hear me say this: 2021 will be the year of over-accessorizing. After being stuck inside for most of 2020, fashionistas are itching to pile it on and head out, showing off every new thing they bought in quarantine. Hats are no exception, and that’s why the 2021 hat trends are all seriously cute.
